How to get Saved?

Now, that is a question that started a lot of arguments. Actually because of these arguments, a lot of people are resenting the Gospel.

The Gospel is Free and Easy.

The only one with the right answer is God. What God has to say about this, can be found in the Bible. There is just one condition, and this is the only condition; you should get the oldest version Bible you can find, like for exp. the old King James Version. Do not worry, this is not the condition to get saved but to get the true answers. There are some scriptures changed and even removed from the bible in most other, especially the newer versions. I will one day write a post about the changes and the removed scriptures. I will past a link here so you can read about it.

So, to make a summery. To get saved: Mark 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. (Jesus’s own Words on how to get saved)

That is all, just believe, and when you do believe. Get baptized.

There are certain things that will happen when you do believe. You can read Mark 16:15 – 18. But do not get discourage if this do not happen immediately, I have a testimony where it took me some time for these things to happen and God never forsaken me. Faith takes time especially if you do not make time for God. I will past a link here, in the future, so you can read my testimony.

Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

The next part you should learn how to become a disciple of God. (Follower of God) I will past a link here, in the future, so you can read about it.

Yoke of bondage VS Unequally Yoked together with unbelievers

When we hear the Biblical term Yoke, then the first verse that comes to mind is:

2 Corinthians 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

Now for years this was printed in my head by Churches but never have I heard any preach the Gospel of:

Galatians 5:1  Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.
Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing.
3  For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.

Then we might think but what is the importance of the yoke of bondage when unequally yoked together with unbelievers is a more important verse? It is not like we get circumcised any more?

There is this one problem I have encountered during the path as a believer, that is we make new laws in Church and make them mandatory. So when people don't believe or take our doctrine "yoke" on themselves, we make them out to be the "unbelievers". In fact, no Gospel has to be manipulated to believed or enforced. If the Holy Spirit didn't reveal it, then there is no truth to it "the new laws".

If we judge people on any level, whether dress code at church (I'm not saying allow revealing clothes, but talking about formal etc.); what they eat; what they drink; how they walk; talk or any. Then we are enforcing laws "yokes" "bondages".

Love don't judge and yes, God which is Love, will judge someday. But if we think about it, only we can enter into God's judgement. God is also Fair and what we have done to others without repentance will be held against us. That is just Fair.

Moving Mountains

I used to be addicted to nicotine and alcohol. While drunk one night I looked at myself in the mirror and started to pray. Then these words formed in my hart, move mountain, move. So every time I got drunk, I went to the mirror and told the man with the bloodshot eyes looking back at me. Move mountain, move, and repeated... A couple of month after that, I quit smoking, quit drinking, I joined a youth service and started to play in a church band. This was about 10 years ago.

While there is this lockdown/quarantine, I started a bad sleeping habit and more. I started to work till 3 in the mornings, then went to bed and slept till about 9 the morning or 12 in the afternoons. I will then go to my computer and start to work again. So focused on my business to make money during this lockdown we are facing over the world. I started to felt burned out and had this pain in my neck with all the sitting in front of the computer. I decided to get in routine again and do some exercise. But the first night I decided to go to bed early, I thought back at that day. Move mountain, move. And yes, it is exactly 3:09 in the morning while I am writing this. Not back in routine yet 🤔...

I feel like someone needs to hear this. No matter where you are and what you are facing; God gave me this answer and it is maybe just something you need to hear.

I know, we might fall back in bad habits "sin" or whatever you call them, but just keep standing up and stick to Jesus.

Also while thinking about that day, a song I was working on a while back. I finely finished written this morning. The song's name is "Move mountain, move".

Time with God gives more Time

You might be at a place of stress now and time feel like its running out faster, weeks feel like days and a day feels like a couple of minutes. It might feel like everyone around you just want to take even more time from you while you have bigger priority things that need to be done. Then, at the same time, you know you need to spend time with God and feel like even God wants your time. While thinking this, you feel even more bad about the situation for placing God as a burden.

Let me encourage you, God Loves you and wants you to take a big breath, go sit at God's feet in the name of Jesus and let God give you peace.

You will find spending time with God gives more time. Stress takes energy and the more you stress the less productive you will become.

Believe it or not, God wants to recharge your strength and show you His Love so that you want to worship Him even more.

Psalm 29:11  The LORD will give strength unto his people; the LORD will bless his people with peace.
Isaiah 26:3  Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.
Colossians 3:15  And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
Psalm 119:165  Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.

Make a Joyful Noice This Morning

Psalm 100:1  A Psalm of praise. Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands.
100:2  Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing.
100:3  Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
100:4  Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
100:5  For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

What do we do with what we’ve got?

Luke 16:1  And he said also unto his disciples, There was a certain rich man, which had a steward; and the same was accused unto him that he had wasted his goods.
2  And he called him, and said unto him, How is it that I hear this of thee? give an account of thy stewardship; for thou mayest be no longer steward.
3  Then the steward said within himself, What shall I do? for my lord taketh away from me the stewardship: I cannot dig; to beg I am ashamed.
4  I am resolved what to do, that, when I am put out of the stewardship, they may receive me into their houses.
5  So he called every one of his lord's debtors unto him, and said unto the first, How much owest thou unto my lord?
6  And he said, An hundred measures of oil. And he said unto him, Take thy bill, and sit down quickly, and write fifty.
7  Then said he to another, And how much owest thou? And he said, An hundred measures of wheat. And he said unto him, Take thy bill, and write fourscore.
8  And the lord commended the unjust steward, because he had done wisely: for the children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light.
9  And I say unto you, Make to yourselves friends of the mammon of unrighteousness; that, when ye fail, they may receive you into everlasting habitations.
10  He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.
11  If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?
12  And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another man's, who shall give you that which is your own?
13  No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

There is a lot of opinions with these scriptures but the context of this is what do we do with what is trusted to us? It is what will we do with the things no one can account for? To determine if we stole in secrete or put part aside and say I deserve this bud my employer will not pay it to me anyway.

This parable is of course what God trusted us with and we cannot hide anything from God thought. But there is this excuse we use; I have earned it; I can do with it what I please. That is the mistake we make and the reason we sometimes don’t get to the riches. Maybe we love money more than God sometimes.

Everything we have is of God, God created everything for His pleasure.

When are we the prodigal son?

Luke 15:11  And he said, A certain man had two sons:
12  And the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his living.
13  And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living.
14  And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want.
15  And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country; and he sent him into his fields to feed swine.
16  And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat: and no man gave unto him.
17  And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!
18  I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee,
19  And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.
20  And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.
21  And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son.
22  But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet:
23  And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry:
24  For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.
25  Now his elder son was in the field: and as he came and drew nigh to the house, he heard musick and dancing.
26  And he called one of the servants, and asked what these things meant.
27  And he said unto him, Thy brother is come; and thy father hath killed the fatted calf, because he hath received him safe and sound.
28  And he was angry, and would not go in: therefore came his father out, and intreated him.
29  And he answering said to his father, Lo, these many years do I serve thee, neither transgressed I at any time thy commandment: and yet thou never gavest me a kid, that I might make merry with my friends:
30  But as soon as this thy son was come, which hath devoured thy living with harlots, thou hast killed for him the fatted calf.
31  And he said unto him, Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine.
32  It was meet that we should make merry, and be glad: for this thy brother was dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found.

I used to be by a certain church serving at the youth, then the youth stopped because of political reasons. I then started helping at another church. About a year passed then I felt God called me back to the previous church and I obeyed.

Those days I was still addicted to nicotine and alcohol. I assumed people from the first church saw me and started a rumor that I have fallen back (backslide or whatever you want to call it).

The moment I entered the church I notice that people wasn’t pleased because I started serving there again and even the Pastor had a service on the “Prodigal Son” to calm the people down. Then I thought to myself, do some people really think their church is the only church where Jesus is? Do they really think being obese, addicted to soft drinks or being lazy is a lesser sin than being addicted to a stronger substance?

We all rely on Jesus for breaking bonds and addictions.

The way I see it, the people that haven’t repented yet by giving their hearts to Jesus by admitting He is the Son of God; is the Prodigal Son… Not the ones struggling with sin or attending another church you don’t like. If else, everyone is still the Prodigal Son…
