Every time I go to church and the pastor preaches, all I can say is sorry Father sorry.
What do you say when your pastor or preacher preaches? If not sorry, then you are either perfect or you went from church to church until you found the one that tickle your ear. Sometimes we also think because we are a Christian that we have the right to do sin even if 1Co 6:10 say that “Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God”. In fact there are a lot of verses that say we mustn’t sin and describes what sin is.
If we look at the things that are happening in today’s life then I can’t think of anything else but that Jesus is on His way to fetch His bride. So our lamps must be full of oil.
A lot of people say that it is now the time more than ever. I think if we only started earlier… the false profits were born in the era where we stopped preparing for the coming of Jesus.
I came across a lot of people these past years that don’t even know that most of the things they do is described in the Bible as sin. Most of the time I am accused of judging if I try to correct people but I’m not on this earth to tickle anyone’s ear. The Word of God say in Mat 28:19 “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age." So I wonder… who is the one that say that teaching is judging?
For some reason we run away from people that try to teach us and go to people that say “ come on, it’s only a movie/song/one cigarette/one drink or a innocent dance. But in 1Co 10:31 are written that “Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God”. Who are you glorifying if you dance with revealing clothing in a pub? And can you say that you are glorifying God if you dance to a so called love song.
God never said sex is Love and that is what all “love songs” are about. I never even heard a song where someone actually wanted to get married to the person before doing anything of that kind. God’s Word say in Heb 13:4 that “Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous”. And 1Co 7:2 “But because of the temptation to sexual immorality, each man should have his own wife and each woman her own husband.” Not boyfriend or girlfriend…
So please people, I don’t say this to judge but to warn you out of Love. God want us to live holy and not by our sinful nature. One sin isn’t bigger than the other but in 1Co 6:18 is written “Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body. 19 Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, 20 for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.”
The devil is trying to catch us with this one; in today’s society it is normal to have sex before marriage. The world change but God will never change.
Do all thing to glorify God.

Skriflesing: 2 Kor 6:1-4 (Afrikaanse Bybel vir Dowes)
Ek, Paulus, en die ander mense wat saam met my werk, werk saam met God. Daarom vra ons mooi vir julle: Onthou dat God *genadig is vir julle, moenie dink dat dit nie belangrik is nie. 2 Want God het gesê:
“*Toe die tyd reg was vir My,
het Ek gehoor hoe jy bid.
Ja, toe die dag gekom het,
die dag toe Ek jou wou red,
het Ek jou gehelp.”
Julle moet weet dit is nóú die regte tyd, dit is nóú die dag wanneer God julle wil red. 3 Ons wil nie hê dat iemand slegte dinge moet dink van ons nie, sodat niemand sleg sal praat oor die werk wat ons vir God doen nie. 4 Julle kan glo dat ons altyd *dienaars van God is.
As ek geroep word om ‘n bydrae te maak tot die kwaliteit van die lewe wat kan ek doen? Hierop sou ons seker elkeen vanuit ons konteks verskillend antwoord.
‘n Russiese priester wat n beduidende rol in die kerk in Rusland gespeel het gedurende die Kommunistiese era, het vanuit sy bittere konteks gesê : “Die wreedste ding wat die Bose doen is dat hy lyding laat voorkom as iets wat normaal is.”
Hy bedoel daarmee dat jy en ek al so gewoond is aan die bose dat ons die lewe met n swart rand om aanvaar en glo maar dis hoe dit is. Ons is gedoem tot swaarkry. Kan jy glo in iets mooier en beters as lyding jou enigste brood geword het? Is dit normal dat jy gemaklik nuus kyk terwyl jy eet of jou aaklige koerantstorie kan lees voordat jy gaan slaap?
Christus kon dit nie hou nie!
Die hemel kon Hom nie terughou om iets aan die lot van mense te kom doen nie. Hy glo nie aan lyding of wreedheid dink as iets normaal nie. Inteendeel Hy glo daaraan dat die leeu en die lam langs mekaar kan lê sonder om mekaar te wil opeet. Hy dink dis normaal dat ʼn seuntjie by die gat van ʼn slang speel sonder dat hy vir die slang hoef bang te wees. Hy glo aan die hemel. Maar ook aan die aarde. Hy dink God se wil kan ook hier geskied. Dis waar jy inkom.
As die instrument in sy hand werk jy die kwade tee, dag vir dag. En stry jy die goeie stryd. Jy is aangestel as ʼn agent vir versoening. Doen jou ding om hemel op aarde te skep.
Gebed: Here, maak my ‘n instrument van verandering en ‘n werktuig van vrede. Amen

Dankie dat jy 'n voorbeeld is vir soveel van ons jong mense . Dis waarlik mense soos jy wat 'n verskil maak deer dat die Here in jou werk deer dat jy God in you lewe toegelaat het, het jy nie net jou lewe veryk nie maar veryk jy almal se lewens met wie jy in aanraaking kom.
Ones live means nothing when meeting new people or knowing a lot of people but by touching someone’s live by hand of God you change their future.
